In this article it will describe how to create a hardware profile that will work on UEFI hardware. This exempel I will create a hardware profile for Dell 7450, it will be for Windows 10. The files that are download will be stored at c:\temp in this exempel
Step 1, download the drivers that is necessary for the hardware and unpack the compressed file(s) and copy the files and folder to "upKeeper distribution point\drivers\w10\x64\Dell_7450".
Step 2, in upKeeper, create a new hardware profile, give a suitable name and click save.
Step 3, Download compressed file to c:\temp, unpack it. Open file c:\temp\settings.txt, and in upKeeper, copy the content and past it in Settings for that hardware profile you are creating.
Go to next tab, Configuration, open "c:\temp\Configuration_BCD Command.txt" and copy the content to Windows with the title name "BCD Command" and there are 3 more fields that need some configuration.
Open c:\temp\Configuration_Diskpart Scratch.txt and copy the content to Diskpart Scratch
Open c:\temp\Configuration_Diskpart Reinstall.txt and copy the content to Diskpart Reinstall
Open c:\temp\Configuration_Diskpart Normal.txt and copy the content to Diskpart Normal
Then Save.
Step 4, copy the files from c:\temp\commands to "upKeeper distribution point\commands\postinst" and open windows_uefi_resealed.cmd in notepad, change the endpoints and make sure that the filename for upKeeper client is correct.
Step 5, now it is time for test, remember to activate UEFI and Secure boot on the computer before test.
