You activate this feature by adding the path to files where drivers are located on the application server. The system will the make a WIM packed of the drivers and add it to the organisations. The new driverpackage will be available for download from upKeeper Web files.

If I create adriver package and pack it to a WIM, is this meant as a replacement of the drivers path totaly?

For example, In my hardware / Settings

    C:\Drivers\W10\EliteBook_8x0_G7

Is this information no longer needed if I create a driver wimpackage instead?

Is there any documentation for howto change to the "new" way of handling hardware settings and drivers?

If you enter a path into the field Path in the tab Drivers upKeeper will try to make a WIM file. The expected full path to the files are [Application Staging Area]\[Path]. Settings are still needed for Windows to understand were to find drivers.

The benefit of using this feature is that drivers can be downloaded over https.
