Windows Store for Business (WSB) integration is the best way of distribute Windows Store Apps thru upKeeper. Chosen apps in WSB will be automatic synchronized to upKeeper and will be ready for distribution. You can read how to setup and configure WSB at Microsoft IT Pro Center https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-store/microsoft-store-for-business-overview .
When WSB is up and running you can configure upKeeper Manager for the integration. You need the following information from your WSB configuration: tenant id, client id and client secret.
Information from WSB is saved in to the WSB configuration in upKeeper Manager. First synchronization can take up to 15 minutes so be patient. When apps are synchronized the will be shown in the ordinary applications list with the description field reading “Windows.Desktop”. Windows store Apps are often published in many versions and every available version will be listed in the applications list. Application administrators has to check for updates from time to time and make testing of new versions and replacement apps with new versions a part of there day to day work.
When a new application or app is synchronized from WSB into upKeeper you can start adding it to groups or computers.
Happy integration!
