How to create a new Distribution Point

Log in to your upKeeper Manger in your on environment, your resellers or to the upKeeper cloud  https://cloud.upkeeper.se with your user credentials. Go to the tab "Distribution Points" to the left. Click "create", enter name and location.

Choose the "SMB" tab. Enter the path to your share in the text field for share:

Example: \\192.168.0.14\upkeeper\

Enter the credentials for the user in your environment(alternatively create a new user in your domain) that upkeeper can use to authenticate against your file share.

Choose if the distribution point should be used as the default one.

 The "Subnets" option is for distributions points not set as the default one(if you have more than one distribution point). Here you can add a subnet and all computers connecting to your organization using an IP-adress within that subnet will use that distribution point.

The "HTTP" tab is for clients communicating with your environment, resellers environment or with Upkeeper-cloud over the internet, here the standard value we recommend to all cloud customers is "https://files.upkeeper.se".
